MDL PENDING CASES BY CATEGORY

The following is a comprehensive listing, from 2012 to the present, of pending MDLs consolidated (centralized) by the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation in one U.S. district court for pretrial activity.
In the categories listed below, the greatest number of consolidated cases are in the Product Liability category, consisting of pending mass torts.
To access court dockets in the consolidated cases, note the MDL docket numbers given in the listing for the category you are interested in and then log in to your PACER account. (If you don’t have one, you can create an account by clicking here.) When you log in, you are asked, “Where would you like to go?” Select PACER Case Locator and click Submit.
Once logged in, under “New Search” (top left), click on “Case Search.” Next, under “Court Type,” click on “Multidistrict” from the drop-down menu. Enter the multidistrict number for the MDL docket you wish to access. Then click “Search.” This allows you to identify the cases transferred in that particular MDL and to access the consolidated master docket.
